James “Jamesbot” Villar has put a lot of work into the esports industry. As a lifelong fan of video games and a Marketing major, James was happy with his job at Steelcase, world leading office furniture manufacturer. While Jame’s career at Steelcase was esports-adjacent it wasn't close enough to the action he was growing increasingly passionate about.

When an opportunity opened up at the video game streaming platform Twitch with a focus on his passion for Rocket League, James jumped at it.  As community fixture from the nascent days of Rocket League esports, James poured his effort into expanding the Rocket League community, helping to build talent teams and curate events. Today James can be found as commentator for almost all of the RLCS events as well as creating content on his own Twitch channel where the community loves to keep him accountable for his antics (pigeon mask-related) and otherwise.
